Where are your chances of winning the Nobel prize higher?

This visualization explores the difference between total Nobel Prizes won by countries and prizes per million of population. By comparing these metrics, we can see which countries have won disproportionately many or few prizes relative to their population size. The pink line represents total prizes (share of total won by a country), while the olive line shows prizes per 1 million population. The colored area between lines shows which metric is higher: pink when total prizes dominate, olive when per-capita performance is stronger.
